The Product Marketing Manager for supplemental literacy maintains product knowledge across our entire product and services portfolio to maintain current competitive analysis information, maintain a current understanding of the literacy market and trends, inform messaging for marketing campaigns, and more. Manages multiple projects and continuous communication with stakeholders.

  • Position Type
    : This is a regular, full-time position.
  • Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $93,268 and $114,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
  • Travel: You can also expect up to 20-25% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Understand and be able to communicate effectively about our entire product portfolio, including feature set, functionality, and competitive differentiators.
  • Have a background in education and an understanding of the literacy market.
  • Develop smart go-to-market plans and campaigns with our partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with internal and external departments and sales to develop effective product/channel positioning and messaging.
  • Support execution of business-driving marketing campaigns aligned to key priorities.
  • Create and deliver content for portfolio marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to and edit product messaging for assigned products, as well as check the accuracy and request changes.
  • Help write, coordinate, monitor, and maintain postings of sales tools and communications to our internal and external partners.
  • Use market research to develop deep intimacy with specialized market needs.
  • Attend key conferences and help drive events tied to area(s) of responsibility.
  • Be responsive to our sales partners, communicating in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments and proactively work with Sales Management to grow the business.
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional team members, customers, and sales, creating lasting relationships.
  • Act as the face of assigned products to key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Travel 20 – 25%.

Share Your Expertise .
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, education, or related field and 3+ years of experience in a product marketing role in the education technology industry; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of education technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of the education market and needs.
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g., integrated marketing campaigns).
  • Dynamic communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration.
  • Excellent planning, research, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20-25%.
