Overview
Manages a product life cycle. Identifies and evaluates modifications and development of products in relation to market needs and prepares recommendations to R&D. Prepares recommendations to management about the viability of alternative product opportunities. Interacts closely with segment and industry responsible to identify the market and new market opportunities. Support sales in product and application knowledge.

  • Evaluate market needs and give directions to R&D on product modifications and upgrades, and new product developments.
  • Drive the business development for AirTech next generation Humidity Control Technology products.
  • Make recommendations to senior management about the viability of alternative opportunities for components, products and system solutions.
  • Defining product marketing communication objectives
  • Comparing the company's products to competitor's products in order to assess competition in the market
  • Support the AirTech strategies by creating clear product strategy and roadmap, for respective markets, that also support the digitalization and sustainability journey of AirTech.
  • Communicate the roadmap to key stakeholders and work with marketing, sales, operations and R&D to derivate a strong value proposition.
  • Drive voice of the customer processes for product initiatives (both existing products and new development) and translate into profitable growth of the portfolio.
  • Regularly attend customer sites to gather business opportunities and insights for product initiatives and to enable value-based selling.
  • Initiate new product development projects, ensure alignment with the strategy and secure that deadlines are met.
  • Increase product profitability within all regions, including customized products.
  • Drive initiatives for more rationalization, incl. standardization of the offering while keeping high level of configuration for customized solutions.

Requirements

  • MSc in Mechanical engineering, major in Refrigeration, Ventilation, Air Conditioning would be preferred
  • Min 7 years of relevant experience in B2B commercial or industrial HVAC industry in Product Application Management or R&D
  • Natural drive and a willingness to change.
  • A strong customer focus with a pro-active can-do attitude and an ability to create customer value
  • Analytical, and you are able to see the big picture and the operational and financial implications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and previous experience of working cross-functional and in a matrix organization
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills and communicate with ease both verbally and in writing. English is a must.
  • Experience from large industrial companies is an advantage
  • Technical education/experience of B2B marketing and/or sales of technically advanced products
  • Experience from Industrial Air Handling Units or Commercial Air Conditioning is an advantage
  • Experience working abroad in different culture is a plus

Pay: $92,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
