About the Role

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the organization’s Subject Matter Expert and evangelist for assigned products, capabilities, and programs
  • Manage the complete product life cycle including market requirements, product release plans, Agile user story and success criteria authoring, backlog prioritization and maintenance, roadmap definition, and product launch activities
  • Partner with Engineering, Partnership Management, and Product teams to educate and continue to transform our platform for the cloud
  • Research and monitor industry, competitive, software, and data trends from a technology perspective and summarize findings for senior and executive management to influence strategy and product planning
  • Partner with customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholder to validate requirements and priorities, product design goals, and business objectives
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Professional Services, and Support departments to deliver solution designs, go to market plans, and training
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations at customer conferences and internal meetings

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Product Manager if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in software product management in SaaS software development or technical implementations
  • Experience managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
  • Experience with transforming on premises solutions to the cloud is preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI preferred
  • Experience with Reporting or Analytical products preferred
  • Basic finance and/or accounting knowledge required (such as a college course)
  • Experience in the legal software market, financial management, or professional services software preferred
  • Ability to present complex technical information, issues, processes, and potential solutions concisely to stakeholders, including leadership, peers, and partners
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously, while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A team-mindset and penchant for collaboration
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • 4-year college degree, focus on computing/technology preferred
  • Ability to travel 10% of time

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City, Irvine). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,000 - $180,100. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $88,200 - $163,800. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
