Position Summary:

The Product Development Associate will work with all members of the Brand/Marketing/Sales Management teams and internal cross-functional teams to ensure that consumer product goods meet the needs of consumers and align with the business objectives and goals of the organization.

This position will serve as a key contributing member on cross-functional business teams and support the development of project launches and changes from exploration through feasibility and ultimately implementation, keeping in mind the organization's long-term goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop project timelines and key milestones, including critical path analysis.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment of all project plans/timelines.
  • Ensure that key milestones are achieved through clear, consistent communication working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Assist in daily communications with the sales team and factory regarding the status of all projects.
  • Create and/or proof product content for packaging, websites and/or marketing materials.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product information and specifications are accurate for all products.
  • Set up item numbers and bills of materials.
  • Assist the product development team with other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in sales and customer meetings as needed.
  • Able to work on change management and White Label sales.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in an analytical, dynamic, or process-driven role such as project management, product development, or R&D for CPG products.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
  • Experience working with Oracle, NetSuite, Smartsheet is required.
  • Experience in Medical Device development a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Experience in FDA-related regulated products including medical devicea and OTC a plus.

Certifications:

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year

  • Project management and Product development: 2 years (Required)
  • working with Oracle, NetSuite, Smartsheet: 2 years (Preferred)
  • In FDA-regulated products including medical devices & OTC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Certified associate in Project Management certification. (Preferred)
