PROCESS TECHNICIAN

Hours: full-time, 7pm-7:30am (2 days on/2 days off, alternating weekends)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Safely operate all machine and ancillary equipment
• Perform SOC review, inspections and autonomous maintenance
• Set-up machine to approved set up parameters and confirm adherence for all machines running
• Follow 5S and workplace organization standards and perform daily housekeeping tasks and inspections
• Seek management approval for any deviations and log changes in machine log book
• Monitor machine performance during the production process and adjust within qualified process window if necessary
• Verify work order data (BOM) for materials, packaging and labeling instructions
• Support set-up tech’s on tooling change-overs when necessary
• Support material handling as needed
• Assist packers as needed
• Maintain a clean machine and work station.
• Coordinate 1st Article approval
• Conduct in-process inspection test as required by quality control plan
• 100% line clear inspection following work order completion or shut down/start up.
• Update HR X HR production
• Follow TPI3 line board reviews and shift hand-off review
• Document all abnormalities in Machine Log Book.
• Ensure product meets all work order and customer specifications and documentation is completed as required

• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Wear company issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, hairnets, safety glasses, and earplugs.

Do You Have…?

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of and/ or previous experience in blow molding, injection molding or extrusion molding.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with an understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude, creative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-spirit and a proactive "can-do" mentality.
• Self-motivation with a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred

• Technical certification in maintenance or related field.
• 3-5 Years of Machine Operations experience (Injection Blow Molding/Plastics Manufacturing).

Do you have the Physical Stamina to…?

• Stand and walk for most of the work shift.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb or balance.
• Lift and/or move up to 45 pounds and occasionally more with assistance from equipment.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat, and a loud noise level.
