Responsibilities:
The road to recovery looks different for every individual. At Talbott, we offer an array of services to meet each person's unique needs.
Talbott is seeking a PRN RN, to assist in our current programming of patient care and therapy.
The ideal candidate will be able to fill in at either our Main Campus on Hunter Rd or our Dunwoody Campus on Shallowford Rd when one of our regular nurses is out.
Experience in SUD/Addiction is preferred for this position.
These are Mon - Fri, day shift hours. No weekends, evenings or overnights.

Qualifications:
The nurse at Talbott Recovery Campus may be responsible for assessing consumer’s medical needs, monitoring medications, administering and tracking TB skin tests and flu shots, and assisting psychiatrist or physician as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes medical screening and/or assessment of new clients immediately upon admission according to level of care procedures.
  • Monitors medication process for all patients including preparation of medication delivered to Resident Assistants, supervising self-administration process.
  • Prepares Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Provides on-going consumer education (group and individual) regarding medications.
  • Meets quality expectations of accuracy, completeness, and is responsive to feedback.

Education and Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Unencumbered State of Georgia RN License.
  • CPR Certified
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in psychology/psychiatry or related field preferred
