Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Full-time Private Events Administrative Coordinator to support the Private Dining & Special Events Planners with day-to-day administrative tasks with a focus on answering incoming event inquiries. If you have a passion for organization, customer service, and teamwork, this may be the position for you!

This position comes at a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 / hour. We also offer our full-time employees generous benefits including:

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRIVATE EVENTS COORDINATOR

As the Private Events Coordinator, you are essential in keeping the Private Dining and Special Events Department organized and operating efficiently. The Private Events Administrative Coordinator is expected to have a welcoming demeanor and be professional with the ability to perform administrative duties in support of a fast-paced events environment. Must be highly organized with the ability to anticipate needs, discern work priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail oriented/well organized

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule - as weekends and major holidays are often required as assigned

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher is required

  • NorthStar experience preferred; Social Tables experience is a plus

  • Highly polished personal presentation of self

  • Four-year college degree in Hospitality Management or similar field preferred


Experience with administrative roles in hospitality is a plus! Are you self-motivated and reliable? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
