Basic Purpose
Responsibilities
- Coordinates print operation actions to ensure efficient use of resources
- Receives Print requests and assigns to appropriate area
- Monitors work-in-progress and adjusts production plans and recommends staff assignments to ensureproduction plans, quality, and schedules conform to workload demands
- Coordinates actions with respect to matters within the department and/or across divisional lines,including preparation and submission of the reproduction Annual Financial Plan, monthly boardmaterials, policy/procedural documents, staff studies and reports
- Prepares work orders and schedules jobs to meet requested delivery dates
- Ensures Job pricing (Estimates) is done according to standards and ensures work order is completedaccording to customer requirements and job supplies are ordered by responsible staff
- Oversees job completion and reporting is sent to Purchasing
- Provides customer service through life cycle of print operation actions.
- Coordinates with other areas of Navy Federal and serves as point of contact for NFCU Print Purchasersto answer questions and resolve issues related to job specifications, delivery schedules, and vendorsupporting services (e.g., maintenance/service, materials, and supplies)
- Maintains a working knowledge of offset and laser printing and bindery services
- Researches and evaluates inquiries and complaints; resolves or arranges for resolution of requests andexpedites
- Follows up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Reviews processes and procedures to improve the quality of operations.
- Remains informed of new/developing printing technologies and techniques
- Is aware of operational processes and makes quality inspections during various steps of each job
- Compiles research data using the Print Shop Management Information system and prepares summaries,analyses, reports, charts and graphs for benchmarking purposes
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience that demonstrates knowledge, understanding, and application of offset and laser printing methods and procedure
- Knowledgeable of various bindery operations
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to deal diplomatically with NFCU officials, staff, professional/business contacts and work effectively with all levels of the Navy Federal workforce
- Experience with printing management information software, spreadsheet and word processing software
- Effective planning, time management, problem solving and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and judgment and to work independently and as a team member
Desired Qualifications
- Education with course concentration in priting, business graphics or related technical discipline
- Knowledge of Navy Federal Credit Union its organization, operations, policies, and procedures
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Location: 5550 Heritage Oaks Dr. Pensacola, FL 32526
Salary Range: $21.00 - $26.50 hourly
Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
