To support the vision we are building a platform that manages end-to-end lifecycle, from provisioning to upgrade to terminate; and provides a self-service cloud experience to the customer, we are looking for passionate engineers who are Enterprise Manager AND Oracle Database experts. We are looking for engineers who have extensive experience in Oracle Cloud observability tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience owning highly available Enterprise Manager systems
• BS or MS (preferred) in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Proficient in Python, Perl and/or Shell Scripting
• You are experienced at building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols
• Experience with production operations and best practices for putting quality systems in production and troubleshoot issues when they arise
• Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations)
• Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.

• Oracle Enterprise Manager configuration, management, and support
• Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control migrations
• Oracle Cloud Observability
• Oracle Database
• Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM & RAC
  

Experience in:

• Level 3 & 4 Enterprise Manager Availability Configuration
• Enterprise Manager Plug-in installation & configuration
• External system integration (Grafana / Ticketing Systems)
• Advanced scripting/coding skills (Shell, Perl and Python)
• Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON is a plus
• Managing and troubleshooting Linux OS systems
