Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Business Management Analyst for activities associated with the Subsystems and Software Sustainment (S&SS) Operating Unit. This position will be located in Warner Robins, GA.
Your responsibilities include:
Establishing the accounting structure within SAP
Developing baseline Estimate at Complete and conducting monthly updates
Planning/scheduling the project
Forecasting material and supplier costs
Controlling the costs, identifying financial issues and working them to resolution
Ensuring the contract’s financial performance is in line with company expectations and goals for awards, sales, margin and free cash conversion
Tracking and resolving accounts receivable and accounts payable issues to a quick resolution
Prepares in-depth budgets and schedules for medium sized programs and performs analyses to ensure that contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
Performs financial analyses and prepares variance explanations, estimates to complete (EACs), and monthly corporate and customer reports related to cost/schedule performance, staffing, and sales outlook
Prepares EVMS baselines, maintains artifacts, analyzes monthly performance, updates MPM / Cobra system, and prepares monthly IPMRs
Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
Prepares and evaluates ROMs and proposals
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
Interfaces with customer; works under limited supervision
Basic Qualifications:
1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
2. Will consider 6 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
or related degree or a Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
3. Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) or similar scheduling tool
4. Understanding of standard financial terms and concepts
5. Ability to obtain/maintain access to work at our Warner Robins facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience using SAP
2. Experience with Access
3. Experience with MPM, Cobra, Winsight, SAP
4. Experience with MS Project and/or Scheduling
5. Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, Commercial contracts and the FAR.
