PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The position balances a variety of developmental, operational, and strategic responsibilities in support of the broader enterprise priorities. This includes leading supply communications, change management, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), training, talent pipeline and development activities, as well as other critical Supply initiatives to meet emerging and evolving strategic priorities and business plan initiatives.

The individual within the role should be a strategic, critical thinker who is able to:

  • Effectively translate business strategy into organization change, communications, and training strategies
  • Effectively manage relationships within Supply and across the broader Constellation organization, coordinating change and communication with applicable stakeholders and decision makers
  • Resolve and coordinate complex issues and risks associated with program implementation and change within Supply and across Constellation.
  • Serve as a conduit of the change management and communications function to cascade important messaging and ensure awareness and readiness for change.
  • Embody and instill a continuous process improvement mindset, influencing key stakeholders and business partners at all levels of the organization.

This position reports to Director, Business Operations and Technical Services and works closely with the Chief Supply Officer and the Supply Leadership Team. Individual will partner with stakeholders across Supply, as well as other organizations across Constellation as appropriate, to become a trusted advisor and ensure effective stakeholder engagement and alignment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Supply Communications

  • Develop and execute Supply communications strategy for Supply programs, projects and initiatives.
  • Draft high quality email communications that require minimal edits.
  • Stay current with communications methods and technologies and recommend use.

Supply DEI, Employee Engagement, Talent Pipeline and Development

  • Develop and assist leadership in implementing DEI strategy, including leading cross-functional Supply Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity Advocates.
  • Analyze results of Employee Engagement Survey to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate development of action items across Supply.
  • Oversight and management of Supply talent pipeline programs, including Supply Intern Program.

Provide governance and oversight of the development and performance monitoring of the Supply Business Planning process.

Strategic Partner to Supply Leadership and Project Teams

  • Build strong relationships with Supply leaders to become a trusted advisor with the goal of helping the Supply organization achieve its strategic objectives and meet their complex strategic, change, and communication needs.
  • Maintain portfolio view of all change, communication, and related training initiatives across Supply.

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner across supply teams and key business partner organizations to understand best practices and refine communications, DEI and change management strategy, as needed.

Develop strategy, provide oversight and support implementation of the Supply Training Program.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Communications/Marketing, Change Management or related discipline.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Communications, or comparable Business field.
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, able to express messages in different ways to facilitate a better understanding.
  • Experience/knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience influencing and shaping leadership decision making.
  • Excellent active listening skills, adapts communications style as needed to best suit the audience and situation. Agile, with a learning mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and manage multiple priorities in a fast, complex, and changing environment.
  • Proficient in understanding and ability to use Microsoft 365 and Office tools, and ability to learn new technologies and tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Communications, Training and/or Organizational Change Management Certifications.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
