Career Opportunity: Primary Care Appointment Scheduler with The HealthCare Connection in Cincinnati, OH

As the Scheduler for The Healthcare Connection, you will communicate with patients skillfully and professionally by phone to schedule appointments accurately and provide information about THCC services, processes, and initiatives. You will serve as the point of contact to assist internal and external callers with appointment-related questions and route calls to other departments or individuals as appropriate.

Bring your demonstrated performance in customer service, as well as:

• 2 (or more) years customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting
• Associate degree or graduation from a Medical Office Administration program highly preferred
• Prior experience as a Medical Office Assistant desirable
• Good verbal communication skills
• Well developed verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus)
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Experience using NextGen or similar EPM software helpful
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge and skills
• Training and/or experience with computer data entry
