- Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
- Ensure the food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products, or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.
- Prepare menus in collaboration with or developed by the Primrose Registered Dietitian and School Director.
- Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
- Experience with food preparation in an early childhood setting preferred
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) required
- Experience working alongside the Illinois Department of Public Health preferred
- An associate, bachelor, or master's degree in nutrition or other healthy food-related field preferred
