Minimum Requirements
- Ability to obtain live scan fingerprinting ($65.00)
- Ability to obtain a negative T.B. test ($32.99)
- Ability to obtain C.P.R. card within 30 days and complete all state-mandated coursed within 60 days.
- High School Diploma at minimum, C.D.A., Associates, or Bachelor's preferred
- Reliable Transportation (please see location)
- Able to work any shift between 7:00 am- 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
- Help children to improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
Skills
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher (Preffered)
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
