The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin is seeking highly motivated individuals to work with prep, line and banquet cooking. We are a high-quality golf facility with banquet and full food and beverage service.

Position: Prep/Line/Banquet Cook

Looking for future professionals to join our team:

Positive Attitude

Reliable

Willing to learn new trends in the industry. Some knowledge of basic soups, sauces, sauté, deep fryer, hot and cold sandwiches, salad prep and garnishing.

Baking experience helpful, but not required

Sanitation certification helpful

Assist Executive Chef with special events, banquets, etc.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Culinary students encouraged to apply

Working Conditions:

Work Hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Work primarily indoors in a restaurant/lounge environment, with some outdoor work involving deck service, tented events, and on-course service. Will be exposed to sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, grills, sharp and rapid equipment movements, hot food, potentially dangerous pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, equipment movement hazards, and misdirected golf balls. Injury may occur as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed at all times.

This Job Is:
