The Prep Cook ensures great taste, presentation, quality, and consistency for all of the restaurant's menu offerings. The Prep Cook is responsible for ensuring the quality and timelines of prep production. Also responsible to prep for chef's specials and to be fully knowledgeable of company spec.

- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
- Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.

- Butcher and dress animals, fowl, or shellfish, or cut and bone meat prior to cooking.
- Prepare relishes and hors d'oeuvres.
