I admit it, its weird... why is a small electrical services company hiring a cook? Well because of the Covid19 nonsense. Once Covid hit, we hired a chef to prepare breakfast and lunches for our team. Even with Covid essentially gone, everyone loves this benefit.

The FULL TIME job is a combo Line Cook and Assembly Tech

The PART TIME job is just a Line Cook and Helper

In the AM, you can prep Lunch for the team, and if you want full time work, then in the afternoon you can help us with battery backup work, organizing, and assisting us in whatever way you can.

WORK SCHEDULE

Most techs work Mon - Thurs 10hour days. Some work M-F. Your schedule can be either 4 or 5 days and can be 5,8, or 10hrs depending on your desire.

REQUIREMENTS

Be able to prep and cook lunch for 15 and be able organize, and maintain our kitchen.

In the AM, you will be line cook, prep cook, grill master, chef de cuisine, and executive chef for this business. You will be given great latitude in planning meals. You can organize and finish our kitchen trailer and cooking deck.

In the PM and probably sometimes in the AM, you will be an assistant to our technical team. Any experience in electrical, electronics, computers, mechanics, handyman stuff will help, but is not required if you are a quick learner.

SAMPLE MENU

We have simple yet satisfying meals. A typical week with the last cook was: Shrimp and Chicken Scampi, chicken philly cheese-steaks, Salmon w/mashed potatoes, and Asian Pork Roast and slaw. We shop at Restaurant Depot for our provisions. We target keeping lunch costs below going out or catered.

GreenLightUPS is a specially electrical firm in business since 1981. Our owner is committed to his employees and stayed open throughout covid craziness. He used to be a former chef, so he enjoys high quality food and preparation.
