Prep/Cook
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items, such as grilling meat, steaming rice, and chopping vegetables according to brand standards (may vary by location)
- Build all orders correctly for each ticket
- Keep station stocked and clean
- Sweep and mop behind the line
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be able to work well as part of a team in a kitchen and work well with the front of house staff
- Must be able to be punctual and maintain an assigned work schedule
- Must be able to follow and understand the importance of procedures
- Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must be able to perform cleaning duties (wiping tables and equipment, sweeping, and mopping)
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Must have prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant
- Food handlers card
- Must be at least 18 years old
