5 years experience Preferred in Generator Repair.

We are looking for an exceptional Generator Controller Technician with managerial experience in Indio, CA. We are looking for a self motivated, energetic person who has excellent communication skills and wants to grow in this trade. Wage is based on experience.

Requirements of Mechanic:

• 2+ years of commercial/industrial experience preferred
• Maintenance experience on Heavy Equipment is required
• Valid and clean driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience with CAT, Cummins, Deep Sea, and John Deer controllers is preferred
• Willing to travel and be on the road
• Experience with MQ and MMD power generators

Responsibilities of Technician:

• Experience with programming and diagnosing engine problems
• Managing department
• Working on generators
• Servicing generators, equipment, and engines- onsite and in shop
• Troubleshooting/diagnostics
• Load bank testing, switchgear, ATS, and paralleling on generators
• Preventative maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, replacing filters, etc.
