Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Hatchery Manager to oversee and manage all operations of our poultry hatchery facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in poultry management, hatchery operations, and a deep understanding of the entire hatchery process. The Poultry Hatchery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality, healthy chicks while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to industry standards and regulations. This is a leadership role that requires excellent managerial, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the poultry hatchery operations, including egg selection, incubation, hatching, chick quality control, and chick delivery.
• Develop and implement operational plans, procedures, and protocols to optimize hatchery performance, productivity, and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation within the hatchery facility.
• Manage hatchery personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation, to ensure a competent and motivated workforce.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity measures, safety regulations, and animal welfare standards throughout the hatchery facility.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues or deviations from standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, breeders, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and adequate supply of eggs and chicks.
• Manage inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and repair schedules to ensure uninterrupted hatchery operations.
• Implement and maintain record-keeping systems for hatchery data, including hatch rates, chick quality, and inventory tracking.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to poultry hatchery operations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance hatchery performance, productivity, and profitability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hatchery Operations: 7 years (Required)
• Managerial: 5 years (Preferred)
