Job Duties

  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
  • Assumes responsibility for laboratory operations.
  • Supervises research staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prospective candidates are required to have earned a PhD in an engineering discipline, which could include fields such as Biomechanics, Movement Science/Kinesiology, or Electrical Engineering, with a distinct concentration on signal processing and data mining. Equally, a PhD in Computer Science, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), or a related field, is also acceptable.

  • Please note that it is crucial for the doctoral degree to be conferred prior to the initiation of the employment term.

  • Ideal candidates will have prior experience in key areas such as data mining, signal processing with emphasize on speech assessment, digital health, wearables, and programming.

  • A proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at scientific meetings is highly desirable.

    • This would illustrate the candidate's commitment to scholarly research and their ability to contribute meaningfully to our interdisciplinary team.

  • Programming skills, Datamining and Signal processing, and Digital Health experience.
