Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- Assumes responsibility for laboratory operations.
- Supervises research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prospective candidates are required to have earned a PhD in an engineering discipline, which could include fields such as Biomechanics, Movement Science/Kinesiology, or Electrical Engineering, with a distinct concentration on signal processing and data mining. Equally, a PhD in Computer Science, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), or a related field, is also acceptable.
Please note that it is crucial for the doctoral degree to be conferred prior to the initiation of the employment term.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in key areas such as data mining, signal processing with emphasize on speech assessment, digital health, wearables, and programming.
A proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at scientific meetings is highly desirable.
This would illustrate the candidate's commitment to scholarly research and their ability to contribute meaningfully to our interdisciplinary team.
- Programming skills, Datamining and Signal processing, and Digital Health experience.
