We are searching for full-time Facilities Assistant to assist our Facilities Manager by performing interior and exterior preventive maintenance and repairs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

· High school diploma or GED, with good basic math skills.

· Proficient in English.

· Good physical condition. Able to walk long distances, lift 70lbs, bend regularly, shovel snow, etc.

· Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised to complete assigned tasks.

· Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of hand tools.

· Valid driver’s license required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Follow company safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment, both inside and outside the building.

· Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, and custodial.

· Daily patrol of building exterior and parking lots to pick up trash, and sweep around dumpster.

· Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, manufacturing spaces, and common areas. This may include, but is not limited to performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, pressure washing, weather preparation (ice melt), and snow removal.

· Works with Facilities Manager to ensure on-time routine preventive maintenance of all systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, security, and electrical systems.

· Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures, replacing bulbs and lamps.

· Build new pallets for finished goods and repair existing pallets.

· Assist inventory with stacking, moving, consolidating inventory materials as required.

· Assist with set up for special in-house company events and clean up/breakdown after.

· Perform other various duties as assigned.
