Under direct supervision of may provide basic supportive services such as gathering and verifying patient information, testing preparation and monitoring, documenting routine observations, data acquisition and scoring, and assisting with appropriate interventions for patient safety.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
HS Diploma or GED
Other: currently enrolled in an approved polysomnographic education program.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
OTHER-STATE registration with the California State Medical Board as a Trainee (unless RCP)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of polysomnographic testing.
Ability to apply the concepts and techniques learned in a Polysomnographic educational program to patients in a clinical sleep lab setting.
Ability to work directly with patients.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Ability to follow direction from more experienced staff.
Basic math and analytical skills.
Pay Range: $28.70 - $35.87 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
