Plant Foreman – Mentone Gas Plant

Job Summary
The Plant Foreman is responsible for the overall supervision and management for a cryogenic gas plant, including planning and execution of safe work practices, with an emphasis on the safety of personnel, protection of the environment, and maximizing throughput and process efficiency while maintaining asset integrity. This position is located in Western Midstream's Delaware Basin as a member of the Midstream Plant Ops Team at the Mentone Gas Plant near Mentone, Texas. Responsibilities and position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant gas gathering/treating/processing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership ability in team environment.

• Demonstrated ability to train and coach for performance.

• Must have strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of work practices, procedures, and protection of the environment, including compliance with all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage employees involved in the safe and effective operation of Mentone Gas Plant’s facilities and systems.
• Supervise / inspect work performed by employees and/or contractors within the PSM facility to ensure compliance with company and government standards.
• Execute startup, shut down, operating procedures, and minor maintenance for compressors, treating and processing units, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves, and alarms.
• Ensure completion of Daily production and equipment condition reports.
• Communicate and serve as liaison between Management, Operations personnel, and other functional support groups - production, engineering, construction, HSSE, Commercial Development, Regulatory and other operations teams.
• Ensure the coordination of the work to optimize transportation, minimize downtime, optimize production, and control environmental and safety risks.
• Provide operational input on project design and hazard analysis.
• Ability to respond to call out requests and work irregular hours as needed for maintenance, relief, and emergency situations.
• Manage work schedules to minimize work stress and overtime.
• Monitor and operate within budget guidelines.
• Provide training for newly hired and existing workforce.
• Assure equipment is operated and maintained within standards that will provide a safe and effective work environment.

Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Associates Degree, Trade School or Applicable Professional Certifications preferred.

Certifications/Licenses
Valid driver's license having no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Relocation
This position may be eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 5%

Work Schedule
This position is 7-on / 7-off, day shift schedule. Wednesday – Tuesday.

This position covers 24-hour operations and must be available for 24/7 on call as assigned.

Candidate must be able to respond to call-outs during the assigned shift within 90 minutes (Man camp accommodations are available).
