Overview:
Do you want to put your skills to work as a Pipefitter at our manufacturing center in Nashville, Tennessee? Come join us at US Smokeless Tobacco Company where you will play a vital role in making sure that our production facility is running smoothly so we can continue to do what we do best – manufacture high quality products.

You will also be able to qualify for promotions up to operator based on demonstrated success along with seniority. You can have a great career in one of those roles or potentially move into factory leadership.

This one comes with great benefits and a $36.14 an hour starting wage.

Your job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Layout, assemble, install, troubleshoot
  • Maintain pipe systems, pipe support, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for high- and low-pressure steam, hot water, HVAC, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production systems
  • Strong safety orientation
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • High degree of initiative and conscientiousness
  • Ability to work with maintenance teams and vendors to isolate systems for installations, inspections and repairs
  • Ability to ensure assigned work areas are maintained to meet high safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications are:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States and US Smokeless Tobacco
  • Available to work any shift, and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Possess current pipefitter journeyman credentials preferred
  • Having a minimum of five (5) years of relevant pipefitting experience in manufacturing and/or shipbuilding facilities
