The Performing, Endurance, and Artistic Athlete Clinic (PEAAC), a woman-owned holistic sports-medicine clinic and wellness center, is looking for an enthusiastic Pilates Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of Pilates to heal and strengthen clients. We are looking to expand class offerings Monday - Friday mornings, late afternoon/early evenings and on weekends. Besides a well-equipped Pilates studio, our facility includes a gym, locker rooms and showers for clients of our classes. In addition, the Pilates Studio will operate alongside a variety of practitioners gathered to provide physical and mental well-being for their clients.

The PEAAC specializes in performing artist-athletes (dancers, gymnasts, figure skaters and musicians) ages 10-40+ and is passionate about providing a safe and secure environment for everyone. As a result, we support all employees to obtain a Safe Sport Certification to meet our stringent requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to be a part of a team as well as to grow personally and professionally as a Pilates Instructor.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing all day to day activities related to opening & closing the pilates studio
  • Performing all activities related to scheduling classes & additional administrative support
  • Assisting with client relations, retention and marketing activities to promote classes and studio events

The skill sets and requirements for this position include:

  • 1+ years’ experience planning and leading pilates classes
  • Experience with reformer, tower, chair and Cadillac equipment
  • Experience scheduling classes and maintaining administrative paperwork
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to engage on social media and review sites (desired not required)
  • Willingness to get Safe Sport Certified and operate within the SSC guidelines (company will support training time for class)
  • Pilates Certified (desired, not required)
  • Member of the Pilates Guild (desired, not required)
  • Adaptable to new technologies/apps

Individuals hired to work at PEAAC are required to undergo a background check.

Compensation: $ 23.00 - $ 25.00 hr/session - Bonuses available for instructors who take on more classes

Part-time: Minimum 10 Sessions/Month

Available Class Schedules/Shifts (Based on client demand/sign-ups)

  • M-F Morning Classes: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • M-F Evening Classes 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sundays: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
