Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists the Physical Therapist in the implementation of the PT Plan of Care for patients in the Sports Medicine Center, formulated during a thorough Physical Therapy evaluation, performed by a supervising Physical Therapist.

What qualifications you will need:

Minimum Education: Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program

Required Licensure: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas

Required Certification: Current BLS required with American Heart Association

Skills: Demonstrates sound clinical judgment and is competent in the practice of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Provides care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
