Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Antioch, CA for a 13 - week contract with the possibility to extend. The ideal SNF PT will have a minimum of 1 year experience in the geriatric population. New grads are encouraged to apply. This can be a travel or a local assignment.

Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist:

• Diagnose and treat individuals of all ages
• Examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles
• Provide care for people in a nursing home setting
• State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices
• Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
