• The physical therapist performs evaluation and treatment of patients/residents upon referral to relieve pain, prevent disability, develop and improve skills and restore function.
• This position generally requires providing service to adolescents, adult, older adult and frail elderly age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. The Level 2 physical therapist also has additional responsibilities in the student education program and within the Spinal Cord program.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy, Bachelors Degree, entry level Masters Degree, or Bachelor's Degree plus certification in PT from an APTA accredited curriculum required.
• Internal candidates are required to have successfully met all requirements as a staff level 1 for at least two years with a minimum rating of consistently meets on all performance appraisal standards.
• External candidates are required to have equivalent experience.
• Pennsylvania licensure in Physical Therapy is required.
• Certification is required for specific service areas, as specified by the Administrator for Campus Therapies, Program Director or Manager.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
