Position Details/Schedule: Position will be salaried, 50/50 clinical care and management, 40 hrs/wk minimum, scheduling will be flexible but some late hours will be probable. Interest/experience in aquatics therapy preferred. Also, interest in growth of clinic which could lead to a DOR position.

Total Compensation Potential for this Physical Therapy Position is: $75,000- $85,000 per year with sign on bonuses, relocation bonuses and/or student loan forgiveness at some locations.

The Clinical Manager (CM) is responsible for coordinating the speech, occupational, and physical therapy coverage on a daily basis. The Clinical Manager makes recommendations to the Director(s) of Rehabilitation (DOR) regarding staffing, equipment and budgets. The Clinical Manager is responsible for all hiring and termination of employees and contractors in coordination with the DOR. The Clinical Manager is also responsible for program development, continuous quality improvement and staff/student continuing education in coordination with the DOR. The Clinical Manager position will include job duties of a speech-language pathologist, physical therapist, or occupational therapist dependent upon the manager’s licensure.

The Clinical Manager also participates with office administration to coordinate therapy services at Cole Pediatric Therapy.

The Clinical Manager (CM) manages, and trains full-time employees, part-time employees and contract (PRN)/employees of the following allied health professionals:

  • Speech Language Pathologists (SLP)
  • Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-Asst)
  • Speech Language Pathologists completing their clinical fellowship year (CFY),
  • Occupational Therapists (OTR)
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
  • Physical Therapists (PT)
  • Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)

Qualifications of this Physical Therapy position include the following:

  • Experience in pediatric Physical Therapy preferred
  • Texas State license in Physical Therapy
  • Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required unless transitioned into accreditation with a bachelor's degree
