Positive Steps, now a part of the Ivy Rehab Network, is seeking an experienced pediatric physical therapist to join our Early Intervention Department. This is an opportunity to build a small caseload of patients, ages birth to three years, in Beaver County.
JOB SUMMARY
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a great team of physical therapists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists. Help make a positive difference in the lives of children!
In our early intervention program, Physical Therapists work with infants and toddlers up to age 3 years, interacting with their caregivers using a coaching model to come up with creative strategies to build therapy into the family’s daily routines.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Proof of current or pending state licensure in respective state
- A minimum of 1 year working with children under the age of 5 with a variety of pediatric PT conditions
- Ability to travel often with a form of reliable transportation to client's homes or daycare settings
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed expectations, learn and grow
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner
- Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Complete daily patient care, progress, and discharge notes in a timely manner
- Treat with integrity and compassion using evidence-based practices
- Engage with patients and teammates in support of our positive, inclusive care environment
- Oversee current patients’ schedules to ensure care completion
- Provide timely communication with referral sources, patients, and leaders
- Develop customized plans of care based the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices and treatments
- Set and achieve professional goals, and career growth
