- Implement Davenport Community School District Physical Education Curriculum.
- Attend all physical education professional development
- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards
- Participate fully as a productive team member.
- Implement building and district elementary level initiatives.
- Demonstrate effective communication with students, parents, staff, and community members.
- Willingness to participate in staff development and utilize collaborative teacher team approach
- Able to implement a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of a diverse learning community.
- Ability to establish a positive learning environment.
- Other duties as assigned by administrator.
- Successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
- Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.
- Implementation of PBIS classroom and Universal procedures and expectations.

- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to assist with outside supervision year round.
- Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs
- Knowledgeable about elementary level practices.
- Experience with elementary students necessary.
- Knowledge about PBIS.
