Job Description:

  • Performs operations of the Production Support department with awareness and knowledge of the various areas of the operations in Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Warehousing, Inventory control, Manufacturing, GMP environments and Consumption of material. Will be assigned to one of these areas but over time will cross train to gain knowledge of the complete operations.
  • Utilizes the SAP system to perform transactions such as Consumption, Material Transaction, Stock Overview, Goods Issue and other relevant material movements all while ensuring cGMP compliance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform the daily functions and process flow of assigned core area (IE cGMP environment). Attain basic understanding and competency of SAP transactions directly related to core area duties as well as basic concept of MFG process scheduling and preperations.
  • Accurately enter a variety of SAP transactions (Goods Receipt, Stock Overview, Stock Put-Away, and Material Movements, Consumption) ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with MFG teams to ensure accurate and timely consumption of materials and transfers as necessary.
  • Continue with ongoing required area training to increase knowledge and understanding. Maintain compliance with Clean Room production environment in accordance with cGMP standards and SOPs. Complete ongoing Employee Health & Safety (EHS) chemical awareness training.
  • Jointly maintain ownership of material life cycle in the Grade D environment all the way to consumption in various processes and maintain accurate movement throughout.
  • Monitor cleanliness of workspace in common areas of Grade D environment, as well as material expiry status and inventory levels.
  • Prepare items for production use. Wipe down materials for entry to the staging area and into the cleanroom suites.
  • Assist in cleaning validations of suites and / or production fills on as needed basis.

  • The incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures, and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

  • The incumbent establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives, and receives guidance in terms of broad goals. Only the final results of work are typically reviewed.

  • The incumbent exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma

Preferred

  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s

Skills

  • SAP, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, inventory systems.
  • Able to communicate orally and written in a professional manor, highly organized and able to multi-task, ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment, and ability to work within a team
