Our company is seeking a professional who can assist our customers with their daily medication needs. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented and passionate about helping people. The ideal candidate for this job will have previous experience working in long term care facilities, medical clinics, or hospitals, and will have strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with dispensing prescription drugs.
• Prepare patient medications for administration.
• Dispense accurate amounts of medications to patients.
• Assist with data entry work, fill prescription, repackage medication, update E-kit.
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Required to process refill requests, reorder medication stock/be the pharmacy purchaser as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy
• Performs other duties as directed by pharmacist/manager/supervisor/owner, or lead technician.

Qualifications:

• Required : High school diploma or equivalent
• Desired: Lone Term Care pharmacy expirience ; right candidate from retail pharmacy can be trained.
