We are currently hiring Pet Lodging & Pet Enrichment Specialists at our Morristown and Montville locations. Starting hourly rate is $14.75 for PT/FT and $14.25 for seasonal. Candidates that have experience as a pet care technician, kennel technician, animal care attendant, dog walker, pet care assistant, or pet sitter can start between $15 - $16 per hour, commensurate with experience.
WEEKEND & HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY ARE REQUIRED AS OUR PET CARE SERVICES ARE OFFERED 7 DAYS A WEEK!
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the health and wellness of our dog and cat guests & communicating updates to pet parents
- Preparing and delivering meals and administering medication
- Provide quality, interactive enrichment activities for our dog & cat guests such as dog walks on our nature trail, off-leash play, and cuddle sessions
- Documentation and record-keeping for each pet guest
- Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all pet areas

Requirements
- Previous professional experience caring for dogs and cats is preferred but applicants must have a natural comfort around dogs and cats and the ability to safely handle a variety of sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Desire to work in a cohesive team environment and follow a daily timeline of activities
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods
- Ability to read and/or understand written instructions/labels
