JOB DESCRIPTION: OTF FITNESS COACH

Fitness Coaches will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 clients per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting. An OTF Fitness Coach must speak to and practice a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the given tools to optimize clients’ experiences and results. The essential duties and responsibilities of an OTF Fitness Coach are the following:

• Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of clients
• Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions
• Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele to the best of his/her capability
• Ensure the safety and health of participants in regards to heart rate, exercise technique
• Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Aim to designate a minimum of 8 hours per week to the OTF studios
• Take a minimum of 1 OTF class per week
• Utilize MBO to maximize client communication, note taking, and client retention, as needed and directed by the studio Head Coach and Studio Manager
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates, when needed, with OTF in-studio tours and sales
• Ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions
• Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service
• Foster and engage in an environment of internal staff feedback
• Provide timely responses and follow through to management requests
• Assist in maintaining a clean studio space

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour

Experience:

• Coaching: 1 year (Highly Recommended)
• Group fitness: 1 year (Highly Recommended)

License/Certification:

• Personal Training Certification and CPR needed
