PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL – NYC

A nationally recognized boutique law firm is actively seeking a Paralegal for the Midtown Manhattan office. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.

Schedule: 9:00am–5:00pm (hybrid in-office and remote)

Salary: Base + OT and Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to Personal Injury attorney
  • Draft, prepare and review legal documents, such as summons, complaints, stipulations, and discovery responses and requests
  • Request, review and analyze medical records
  • Summarizing medical records and preparing chronologies
  • Correspond with opposing counsel, clients, and other entities
  • File Request for judicial intervention and preliminary conference requests
  • Preparations for trial and subpoenas
  • E-File legal documents on the NYSCEF website

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate a plus
  • E-filing experience a plus
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Time management and multi-tasking
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
