Personal Care Attendant/Home Health Aide
This specific posting is a Monday-Friday shift from 1pm-5pm in Brownsburg, IN!
A Joyous Kare Home Home Healthcare LLC is currently seeking Home Health Aides (HHA's) and Personal Care Attendants (PCA's) to join our team servicing the state of Indiana! We are looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers to support our mission to enhance the quality of life of our seniors and people with disabilities living independently in their home. You will assist with the daily tasks of elderly, mentally disabled, chronically ill, or physically challenged clients. This is not a sitter service; we provide hands-on quality care!
Personal Care Attendants (PCA's) Job Description
- Bathing Assistance
- Toileting Assistance
- Help with Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Meal preparation (Cooking)
- Transfer Assistance (Gait Belt)
- Medication Reminders
- Vacuum/Sweep/Mop/Wash Dishes
- Clean Kitchen and Bathroom
- Light housekeeping, linens changing, and laundry
- Shopping, errands, meal prep, companion care and transportation
- Medication reminders and opening medication containers
- Companion services such as letter writing and mail reading
- Appropriate reporting of changes in client status
COVID-19 Precaution(s):
- Remote interview process (google meet platform)
- Caregivers are required to wear a mask within the home.
- Vaccination highly preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum Age 18
- CPR certified
- Current Indiana Driver’s license
- Reliable Transportation
- Pass PCA Competency and Skills Test with 85% or higher
- Must pass Criminal Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug Test and TB Test.
- Must comply with privacy and HIPAA laws.
- Must comply with client’s rights.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Covid vaccination.
* High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Pay: $10 - $15/Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday some weekends
Time starts as early as 8AM- 6PM
