Job Summary and Qualifications

The Blood Bank Coordinator provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

What you will do in this role:

• You will assure quality testing and accurate test performance through operator training, equipment monitoring, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, quality control review, and proficiency testing.
• You will coordinate testing for designated section according to manufacturer’s procedures, CLIA requirements, Joint Commission, and CAP accreditation standards.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree
• Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Clinical Lab Supervisor, or Certified Medical Lab

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
