- Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher
- Ensures classroom management
- Serves appropriate duty assignments
- Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher
- Performs other duties as assigned by the school
Permanent Substitute Teacher:
o Have at least 60 credit hours, an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's degree
o Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training Recognition and Intervention training
All Substitute Positions require a Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention certificate. The free Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training can be found here: https://www.dss.virginia.gov/abuse/mr.cgi .Daily Sub Rates :
