We are seeking Pension Risk Transfer Data Analysts to support our PRT Operations group. We are seeking various levels to include entry, mid and senior level data analysts. The data analyst will focus on new client onboarding, monthly annuity payroll, annuity administration and other data related initiatives. This role is client facing and will participate in business-wide data projects that support the management team with business decisions.


This position is available for our Galveston and/or League City, TX location(s).


What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with management and other functions and departments, including actuarial, investments, risk, finance, and compliance on each winning bid
  • Apply appropriate data engineering techniques and processes to optimize data flows and consumption
  • Maintain monthly and year over year dashboards to assist with reporting to senior management
  • Effectively communicate complex data findings in a clear & concise manner to multi-disciplined teams
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Operations team’s playbook for ease of training and knowledge transfer to team members
  • Assist with training new team members as required

Qualifications Required on Day One:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science or equivalent preferred
  • Two or more years of PRT data analysis experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and advanced knowledge of Excel in particular
  • Experience with data visualization tools

The ideal candidate will also have the following experience:

  • Knowledge of group annuities/pensions is highly desirable
  • Project planning and project management skills are ideal
  • Experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI), and/or PowerApps a plus
