Summary:
The PCS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the department director and manager, handling day to day clerical responsibilities, including word processing and data entry. This position’s major function is answering and screening phone calls, problem-solving, and providing support to Patient Care Services. Confidentiality is vital to this position.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • College courses in English and Communications is desirable

License or Certification Requirements:

  • None

Responsibilities:

  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Participates in departmental promotional activities.
  • Schedules appointments & meetings as requested.
  • Keeps minutes of departmental meetings
  • Inputs daily required IDPH statistics.
  • Participates in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain DNV and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Coordinates services of interpreters.
  • Assist in maintaining the float pool schedules
  • Assist in maintaining the Sitter/CNA schedules
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Prepare and maintain hemodialysis schedule
  • Reconcile EEG invoices
  • Prepare Daisy Award and Butterfly Award nominations
  • Clerical duties as requested
