Our Payroll team is expanding and we are looking to hire a Corporate Payroll Specialist to help us with our growth and expansion and transition to an even more efficient organization. The ideal candidate is an individual who is passionate about payroll, providing great customer service to our hotels across the portfolio,. Your attention to details, self-motivated drive, and strong interpersonal communication skills will enhance your success in this role. We value fit over technical skills, but top candidates will have experience with processing payroll in multi-state, gathering payroll information, experience with timekeeping. Your ability to fostering strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization will be important.
What you will do:
  • Support Payroll Coordinator with "Time Off" requests from our hotels with timekeeping inquiries.
  • Capable of supporting hotel properties with their payroll upon request .
  • Provide support to the field with providing information and answering team members’ questions about payroll related matters.
  • Eagerness to learn new technical systems will be a plus.
  • Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized paperless environment by scanning relevant documents.
  • Prepare all wage verification requests and respond to all garnishment inquiries.
  • Respond to email and phone inquiries from the field in a timely manner.
What you will bring:
  • This position requires a high school diploma, and preferably a college degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience in multi-state
  • CPP/FPC a plus
  • High attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and task oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal
  • supervision
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
