Job description

This position is responsible for assuring compliance with California’s various wage and hour laws.

Essential Functions:

· Monitor employee electronic timecards for appropriate compliance with meal and rest periods

· Assist California leadership team in notifying employees of upcoming meal and rest periods

· Ensure employees accurately use the timekeeping system’s lunch punch feature

· Review all notes added in the timekeeping system to ensure appropriate action is taken

· Monitor timecards for appropriate reporting time pay

· Ensure that “regular rate of pay” is calculated accurately

Required Skills and Qualifications:

● In-depth knowledge of California wage and hour laws

● Will to work in our location (in office)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

● 5 years of California payroll experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $31.75 per hour
