The Opportunity
This role will be hybrid, out of our Buffalo, New York office a few days per week.
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Salary: $55341 - $66140 / year

Responsibilities
- Establish management systems to optimize payroll check technologies, providers, and processes.
- Manage the payroll effort and help improve payroll management business operations and the employee experience.
- Build payroll programs, staffing, and services to scale to optimize processes and systems.
- Understand tax laws and ensure proper implementation for successful review and approval of corporate tax records.
- Continuous improvement of the design and production of payroll and compliance functions, reduce costs, and improve the bottom line.
- Collaborate with Human Resource Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and line leadership to support development, implementation, and monitoring of laws and policies and related procedures and processes.
- Ensure payroll processing and HR systems teams on data and methods to maintain compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years in a similar payroll/tax processing in a shared services environment required.
- Experience using Workday, PeopleSoft/Oracle and/or SAP or similar systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in payroll functions, payroll operations, processes and compliance.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- High volume payroll processing experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
