THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for a Parts Fulfillment Specialist to join our growing operations at our Lake Charles, Louisiana location. The Parts Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for all shop parts and core returns, and tracking all back-ordered parts for the Service Department. Back-order reporting to the Service Manager should be done on a daily basis and contain the shipping origin and anticipated arrival date. He/She will also perform warehouse duties for the Parts Department, when the need arises.

YOU

• Pull stocked parts from the warehouse on all Service Department job orders.
• Enters all shop credits, returns, and warranty parts
• Insure that all non-stocked parts are properly backordered from appropriate vendors and freight charges are entered on assigned work order. Parts that are MAO (Made As Ordered) or have a prolonged ESD (Estimated Ship Date) will be communicated to the Branch Parts Manager and Service Manager immediately.
• Minimize freight and service charge expense by utilizing branch parts stock before ordering from vendor.
• Communicate with the Service Manager, Service Coordinator, and/or Lead Technician on proper backordering of all emergency orders.
• Will be responsible for all service bays, our truck, hot shots, etc. delivery to the shop and field servicemen.
• Insure that all shop core credits are properly graded, tagged, warehoused or returned to the main store.
• Will be responsible for entering all service work order credits and returning parts to proper bin locations in the parts warehouse.
• Will insure that all warranty parts are tagged, transferred, and assigned bin locations in the warehouse. Will also be responsible for returning parts to the factory and discarding warranty parts when notified on “Send It Back” report. Will make inquiries to the Warranty Department on all warranty parts over 30 days old that do not have a scrap notification.
• Will be responsible for assembly of hoses as requested.

Preference will be given to applicants with related training and/or experience, computer skills, and ability to operate a forklift.

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

• SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
• Will require physical movement as listed in the job description
