YOUR NEW JOB AS A PARTS COUNTER SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

As an experienced Parts Counter Sales and Customer Service Rep, you help customers find the right parts for power equipment repairs. Whether you're assisting someone over the phone or in person, you provide friendly and professional customer service. When a customer comes in with an old part and says, "I think I need one of these thingamajigs," you competently inspect it to ascertain the make, year, and type of part needed. Highly knowledgeable, you're a technical expert on the range of items we stock, and you're happy to educate customers about the use and features of various parts.

Once you've determined which supplies the customer needs, you consult the catalog or computer for the stock number, then check our inventory for the correct item. Since you frequently participate in rolling inventory checks, you usually have the right parts on hand for the job. Persuasive without being pushy, you rely on your expertise to suggest additional products to improve the performance of their power equipment. You then prepare the sales slip and process the transaction. Committed to providing exceptional service, you also handle returns and refunds. You enjoy having a job where your mechanical knowledge is valued, and you feel great about helping our customers each day!

QUALIFICATIONS

We're searching for a friendly, adaptable person with the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the outdoor power equipment or automotive parts industry
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing through the shift and the ability to lift 75 pounds
