Insurance Claims Processor

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for accurate claim submission and reconciliation to validate account receivable posting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with financial administrator to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims billings.
• Data entry for accurate reporting of screening participants and screening inventory usage data.
• Work with internal team and assist with other administrative duties as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excel skills (Moderate skill level)
• Microsoft Office (Moderate skill level)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Balancing multiple priorities
• Ability to set and meet deadlines
• Increasing awareness (exposure to) HIPPA
• Team Player with excellent communication skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree or equivalent job experience
• Experience with QRS and/or Alveo a plus
• Minimum 1 year claims processing for medical/health care environment

This job includes the above requirements but is not limited to them.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
