Especially for Children in Bloomington seeks a dedicated infant teacher to join our teaching team. EFC has eight Twin Cities locations which are NAEYC Accredited and Four Star Parent Aware rated. EFC is locally owned and was founded in 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.

8 or 10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, 2 or 3 days per week. 16-30 hours per week (based on candidate preference). Candidate may be able to choose the two or three days they would like to work, but usually would be the same days each week.

We seek a qualified teacher who:

• Relates positively with young children and families
• Has previous Early Childhood Education experience in a school, childcare or daycare setting
• Has a CDA or college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Plans and implements lesson plans and a daily classroom schedule
• Works cooperatively with other team members
• Is authorized to work in the United States. Especially for Children does not provide Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
