Migration Winery is seeking a hybrid role of a Reservationist and Tasting Room Host to deliver on our hospitality goals with every visitor to our tasting room. As the first contact with guests on the phone, via e-mail or to the property, this position is responsible for setting the tone of the tasting experience for new and returning guests alike. This employee will provide a high level of hospitality while fulfilling these tasks listed below. Professionalism, exceptional phone skills, multitasking, in-person etiquette and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must. Having an attention to detail and a “hospitality heart” will allow for you to succeed in this position.
What we will ask you to do:

What we will ask you to do:
- Act as point person for incoming phone calls and inboxes for reservations and guest inquiries
- Possess full knowledge of reservation systems (TOCK), shipping procedures/volume limits when shipping wines, and current promotions (online and Visitor Center)
- Inputting wine sales orders and wine club memberships into Wine Direct
- Assist guests with concierge services such as modifications, cancellations, late arrivals
- Assist with set up or breakdown of all on-site tasting facilities and end of day closing duties
- Assist Wine Specialists with packing wine orders as necessary
- Assist with Wine Specialists and Retail Assistant duties as necessary, including food prep, wine restocks, bussing tables, and wine pouring
What you will need:
- Must be 21 years of age or older – pouring wine
- Minimum high-school diploma
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Must have a clean DMV record
- Ability to lift up to 42 lbs.
- Data entry experience in Excel and Word
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
